The New Angelcare AC401 Main Improvements
The key improvements compared to the previous model (Model Angelcare AC301) are:
1. Frequency. With 2 frequencies the data transmission will never interfere with the Sound & Movement transmission and it reduces the chance of interference with other appliances using 2.4GHz
2. Functions. All main functions on the Nursery Unit can be chosen and managed from the Parent Unit.
3. Batteries. The Parent Unit is now rechargeable, which adds convenience and peace of mind.
4. Transmission. Parents can now choose to have sound activated or continuous transmission and also the sound level. The old model AC301 only offered sound activated transmission.
5. Digital Channels. The number of available digital channels has increased from 3 to 8, which is sufficient to avoid interference with another baby monitor.
6. Colour & Design. The new monitor comes in a nice aqua colour and has a Full Colour LCD Screen and a night light that also works if the baby monitor is not on.

There are 4 baby monitoring options available from the parent unit:
- Movement: This option will transmit only.
- Sound/movement/tic: This option will transmit light and sound with 'tics' (a 'tic' represents each baby movement).
- Sound/movement: To hear sounds, see sound lights function but without the 'tic'.
- Sound: To hear sounds and see sounds lights on parents units.
- Please Note: The Sensor Pad must be completely flat in order to obtain 100% efficiency. If using with a slatted bed rest the Pad on a piece of 6mm plywood.
